Coaches Fair Play Code - Coaches will be reasonable when scheduling practices remembering that young athletes have other interests and obligations. - Coaches will teach players to play fair and to respect the Rules, Officials, Opponents and Teammates. - Coaches will ensure all players receive equal instruction, discipline, support and appropriate fair playtime. - Coaches will not ridicule or yell at players for making mistakes or for performing poorly. I will remember that children play to have fun and must be encouraged to have confidence in themselves. - Coaches will remember players need a coach they can respect. I will be generous with praise and set a good example. - Coaches agree to abide by the principles of the fair play code as set by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association and supported by Manitoba Minor Ball Hockey League, - I hereby acknowledge the authority of the Manitoba Ball Hockey Association and agree to carry out and abide by their constitution, bylaws, rules and regulations. I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the coach’s role as outlined above. By way of this application, I give permission to Manitoba Ball Hockey Association to pursue a criminal record search on myself. Coaches each year will be selected for Child Abuse Registry Checks.
